Everything else here describes how BuyLow works today, checked against the running product. The parts marked Needs review cover decisions that have not been made yet. The operating entity, governing law, liability limits, tax handling, a contact address. They are listed so you can see them, not filled in with plausible-sounding text that nobody has agreed to.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
This switch would turn off the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. It is not available, because there is nothing to turn off. BuyLow does not sell your personal information, does not share it for advertising, and does not run advertising or retargeting pixels. Turning a switch off that was never on would be a false reassurance, so it is shown here as unavailable instead.
- No advertising network, social widget, tracking pixel or retargeting script runs anywhere on this site.
- No buyer list can be exported by a seller — a seller only ever sees the delivery details of an order you placed with them.
- No third-party profile of you is built, and your data is not used to train models.
- Your data is never sold, rented, traded or shared with data brokers.
1.What you can change yourself
The controls that do exist are in your account, and none of them need a request:
- Notification emails — unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. Order and security emails cannot be turned off, because they are about an order you placed or your account.
- A review you wrote — delete it from the product or store page. The review and any photo go with it.
- Your wishlist — remove products one at a time by tapping the heart again, on the product or on your Wishlist page. A wishlist saved while signed out is in your browser only; clearing site data removes it.
- Your profile — change or remove your name, phone, date of birth, gender and avatar at any time.
- An order you have not shipped yet — cancel it from the order page, and the full amount is refunded to your original payment method.
2.What needs a request
Getting a copy of your data, having it corrected, or objecting to a use of it, is handled by request rather than by a self-service switch (deleting your account is the exception: you can do that yourself). A request address and a response time are not yet published.
Needs review
- The monitored address for privacy requests.
- The response time and the identity check for a request, and how a refusal is appealed.
