Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

BuyLow does not collect consumer health data. This notice says what that means in practice, and where free-text fields need care.

Last updated 29 September 20263 sections

1.We do not collect consumer health data

BuyLow does not collect, sell or share consumer health data, and does not infer it. The categories on the platform are grocery, food, dry goods, paper goods, frozen, refrigerated, dairy and produce. There is no health, pharmacy, wellness or medical category, no health questionnaire, no symptom or condition field, and no wearable or insurance integration.

We also do not use any information about you for a purpose that would reveal or allow a health inference.

2.Free-text fields are the one place to be careful

Some fields accept anything you type: a product description, a review, a chat message, a request for quotation. Those fields are not screened for health content, and a store owner or another buyer could read what you write there.

Please do not put health information in a listing, a review, a message or a request for quotation. If you do, we will not be able to identify it as sensitive, and the full Privacy Policy applies to it like anything else in those fields.

3.If this ever changes

If BuyLow ever starts handling consumer health data, this notice is updated first, the data is not collected until the consent required by the applicable rules is given, and the notice states what is collected, why, who it is shared with, and how to withdraw consent.
